The PE522 features up to 3,100K/1,200K random read/write IOPS, 14.2GB/s sequential read bandwidth, and an ultra-low 5μs latency, specifically optimized for KV Cache offloading and reloading in Large Language Model (LLM) inference. By minimizing I/O wait times and reducing Time to First Token (TTFT), the PE522 significantly boosts token-per-second throughput, ensuring seamless, real-time inference.

Built with premium 3D NAND flash rated for 12,000 P/E cycles and driven by sophisticated enterprise firmware algorithms, the PE522 offers an exceptional endurance rating of up to 4 DWPD. Compared to previous generations*, this represents a 33% to 100% leap in endurance, ensuring maximum uptime and data integrity for high-performance clusters.


Million-Class IOPS/W Energy Efficiency to Relieve Cluster Thermal Stress

Combining an outstanding energy efficiency of up to 1,000,000 IOPS/W, a sub-25W power envelope, and advanced thermal control, the PE522 significantly reduces server cooling and power operational expenses (OPEX). It empowers computing nodes to pack higher compute density within a limited power budget, maximizing the total value and compute-per-dollar of individual servers.

The PE522 covers both Read-Intensive (up to 30.72TB) and Mixed-Use (up to 25.6TB) configurations. The read-intensive models drive ultra-high storage density for Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and data analytics, while the mixed-use models are purpose-built to accelerate core databases, virtualization and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)—providing the operational flexibility needed to ensure efficient scalability and stable performance across diverse workloads.
