“YMTC has always been driven by its commitment to the memory market, and the launch of this new client SSD product line is again a strong showcase of our dedication to bringing the latest technologies to market and diversifying our product portfolio. Following PC005 and PC210, our launch of the PC300 series SSDs will be able to meet the surging demands for PCIe 4.0 SSD,” said Frank Fan, Head of Product Management at YMTC.  “Thanks to YMTC's  innovative Xtacking ®architecture, this new line of product will provide flexible, efficient, reliable, and stable data storage for computers.”

Equipped with the YMTC Gen3 3D NAND Flash, PC300 is compatible with PCIe 4.0, NVMe 1.4, and other interface protocols, with sequential read up to 3,900 MB/s and an active power consumption of no more than 5W. Moreover, the product showcases DRAM-less design features, as well as the host memory buffer (HMB) function. PC300 will deliver options for 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, in addition to two form factors of M.2 22x42mm and 22x80mm, providing reliable service for an array of client needs, from commercial office use to entertainment experiences.

“PC300 SSD fully demonstrates YMT's latest flash memory technology, which provides high-performing and cost-effective storage solutions for a wide range of power-sensitive applications,” said Gregory Wong, an analyst at Forward Insights.

YMTC's drive for innovation in product design and R&D has paved the way for PC300's latest design features:

 High-performance and extended battery life
With sequential read and write speeds up to 3,900MBs and 2,800MB/s respectively, PC300 is clearly the best-in-class. Its active power consumption is less than 5W, and it supports a low-power mode that can effectively reduce heat exhaust, providing laptop users with more comfort while also extending battery life.

Reliable
PC300 supports LDPC error correction and end-to-end data protection, ensuring a safe and reliable environment for data storage.

Economical and Efficient
PC300 operates with the HMB (Host memory buffer) function and SLC cache, effectively boosting performance and reducing total ownership costs for computers.

 Xtacking®2.0
PC300 is designed with YMTC's innovative Xtacking®2.0 Gen3 3D NAND flash, enabling higher I/O speeds, smaller die sizes, as well as higher bit densities, ultimately reducing customers' time-to-market.

“I am proud to share that the products in our PC300 series have passed the testing and authentication stages for both mainstream and innovative platforms with flying colors and are now ready for market launch,” said Alex Wang, Head of Marketing & Sales at YMTC. “In the future, we will continue to innovate and create the most versatile, efficient, reliable , and stable storage solutions and services for our customers, allowing all our users to experience the best-in-class terminal products.”
